How we decide the right plan for each site
1 · Start from the siteThe as-cleared footprint, what the site is for, and the standard it must meet.
2 · Find what’s thereWeeds, native cover and regrowth from crew photos, imagery and LiDAR.
3 · Split it into zonesWater buffers, nest trees and weed patches each become their own zone.
4 · Legal methods and windowsEach zone gets what’s allowed and when, timed to the weed’s weakest stage — every rule cited.
5 · Cheapest compliant pathStrategies compared over three years, not just this one.
6 · Sign off, then checkForester and certified applicator sign; each visit adjusts next year’s plan.

Questions
What is a vegetation management plan for a right-of-way?
A plan that sets out, site by site and year by year, how vegetation will be managed. We prepare one schedule covering brushing, weeds, hazard trees and access for pads, rights-of-way and roads.
How is the right plan for each site decided?
From the site itself: what it is for, what grows there and the standard it must meet. We split the site into zones such as water buffers, nest trees and weed patches, and set for each zone the methods allowed and the windows when they can be used, citing the rules. We compare strategies over several years, not just one.
How often does a site need treatment?
It depends on the site, so the plan sets each zone's treatments and timing year by year. We use each visit's results to adjust the next year's plan, and time treatments to the weed's weakest stage and the windows that apply.
Who signs the plan?
Our forester. The plan is signed before work starts, and each visit is checked against it.
